This restaurant is amazing! We stayed in Salinas overnight and were craving some wonderful Mexican food. We were not disappointed.

Yummy meals. Breakfast and lunch at the same table. Trip advisor does it again. We were standing on the corner in downtown Salinas smelling good food. We couldn't tell the source, so we checked TA.

This place is like walking into grandma Eva's house and sitting down in her kitchen while she makes you homemade authentic mexican. There was not much english spoken here (I had to order in Spanish even though I don't speak it). When my date asked for pico de gallo, the server cut it up fresh right there. I ordered the fish tacos, but they came fried with breading on them, so my date switched meals with me. I had something like an eggs scramble with jalapenos and rice and beans. I was sincerely in love with the rice and beans. SO GOOD! Their homemade corn tortillas are amazing. This place was awesome....especially compared to the poor excuse for Mexican food in the East Bay.
